Description

Grapes: 100% Folle Blanche

Appellation: AOC Armagnac

Terroir: Our Bas Armagnac 1990 comes from our area in the heart of Bas Armagnac connoisseurs terroir.

Elaboration:

Continuous distillation with an Armagnac still without chill filtration.

Ongoing ageing in oak barrels, coming from the region.

Tasting notes:

Amber coloured eau-de-vie with hints of green, copper-coloured, bright and clear.

The nose is very elegat and remains with aromas of vanilla thanks to its ageing in oak, and a touch of burnt wood.

The palate is fresh and well balanced; fine quality tannins bring a liquorice note; the finish is very peppery, with aromas of dried ferns and toasted wood.

Pairing: As an after-dinner or with a light coffee such as "blue mountain" or to accompany almond macaroons.
