Grape varieties/Blending : 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc.
Soil : Gravelly Clay
Wine Making Process : Traditional winemaking process, which takes place in regulated temperature concrete vats for about four weeks. Malolactic fermentation is made in the same vats, and then the wine is put into barrels for another 12 months. Blending wood : 35% is aged in new barrels and the rest in one year barrels.
Tasting : The colour is a deep intense red with dark purple reflections. Small ripe red fruits flavours, mineral and toasted notes are composing the explosive nose of the wine. Sweet mouth attack, structured with a lot of fat, tannins well-balanced and flexible. The finish is long with a good aromatic persistence on ripe fruits and with roast notes.
