How to get Kingambit

Not all of them have been informed, but Pawniard got his third stage evolution in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet series. In this Pokémon SV Guide – How to get Kingambit.

Who is Kingambit?

View post on

Kingambit is the “Big Blade” Pokémon which is a dark and steel type. This humanoid, bipedal Pokémon evolves from a Bisharp and is the only known Pokémon that can learn the move Kowtow Cleave. In the Pokédex, its entries are as follows:

Scarlet: “Only a Bisharp who stands out above all others in his vast army can evolve into Kingambit.”

Violet: “Although he commands a massive army in battle, he is not adept at devising complex strategies. He just uses brute force to keep pushing.”

Where to find Pawniard?

Pawniard can be found in the Southern Province (Area One) or in the Eastern Province (Area Three). You can find Pawniards near the river banks, so they wouldn’t be that hard to find. After completing Victory Road, you can also find Pawniard at Area Zero.

Evolving from Pawniard to Bisharp is a daunting task, as this Pokemon evolves at level 52. You can speed this up by using the auto-battle feature, but it could take a long time to do so.

An easier way to do this and fill out your Pokédex would be to catch a Bisharp yourself. Head to the Northern Province (Area Two) and throw a Pokéball in its path and you’ll be one step closer to getting a Kingambit.

How to get Kingambit?

This evolution method is a bit difficult to understand, but luckily, we are here to tell you how to evolve Kingambit. First, you will need to obtain a leader crestof a Bisharp who is surrounded by Pawniards. They can be found in the Northern Province (Area Two) within the bamboo thicket area. Catch a Bisharp for yourself and see if it is carrying a leader shield. Again. it has to be a Bisharp leading a group of Pawns. If he’s alone and without Pawniards, he’s not who you want to catch.

The next step to getting Kingambit is to be the best Kingambit (well, at least for the next three Bisharps). You must defeat three Bisharp who are surrounded by Pawniard. Do not take into account that they can take time to spawn, so keep an eye out for the bamboo thicket to defeat three Bisharps.

Do all of this correctly and all that’s left is to level Bisharp up a level through auto battles, defeating wild Pokemon, defeating trainers, or using a rare candy. Upon reaching the next level of Bisharp, you will be prompted that your Pokémon is ready to evolve.
