Matt and the kids stay on the farm?

Christmas at the Mistletoe Farm (Nosso Natal at the hacienda) is a new Christmas comedy premiering on Netflix. Written and directed by Debbie Isitt, the film is about a father of five who struggles to juggle between his work life and his personal life. The total duration of the film is 100 minutes.

The cast of the film includes Scott Garnham, Scott Paige, Kathryn Drysdale, Delilah O’Riordan, Evan Scott, Madison Davis, Faith Delaney, Dexter Sol Ansell, Carolyn Pickles, Ashley Jensen, Celia Imrie, Inel Tomlinson, Sydney Isitt-Ager, Jonny Weldon, Simon Lipkin, Stewart Wright, Steven Wickham, Gabriel Vick, Hannah Smith, and Isaac Fox.

The film is produced by Chris Bunyan, Nick Jones and Hannah Perks. Music is provided by Nicky Ager and Debbie Isitt. Sean Van Hales is the film’s cinematographer.

The Netflix synopsis for the film reads:

After inheriting a farm at Christmas, a widowed father adjusts to village life, while his sons hatch a plan to stay there forever.

In the second half of Christmas at the Mistletoe Farm, when Matt was preparing for the pitch he was supposed to present before his boss was destroyed by the pregnant goat. Furious, he tries to control the situation but fails miserably. Things get even more out of hand when Beano tries to fix the water pipes, but ends up flooding the entire house.

Other situations become even more difficult for Matt when the villagers find out that he was planning to sell the farm to developers. They show their anger towards him which makes the situation tense. His children also side with the villager and ask his father not to sell the farm.

Matt sold the farm?

The developers travel from London to inspect the farm. Matt welcomes them and begins to show them the plot, but things soon go awry when the kids start attacking them. They throw eggs at them to make them escape the plot. But the developers do not give up as they are interested in buying the plot.

Villagers were seen forming a protest to show their hatred towards the developers. Several farm animals also joined the fight to save the farm. Defeated, the developers flee the site back to their homes.

Later, Matt’s boss also came to the farm, but after being insulted and laughed at by the villagers, she became furious. She fired Matt from the job on the spot and left the scene.

What happened to Beano?

After Matt was fired, he blamed everything on Beano. Feeling guilty, Beano packed his bags and went to London to retrieve Matt’s lost job. He took Matt’s speech which he wrote on a piece of paper along with him.

Beano set up a meeting with Matt’s boss and delivered the speech. Impressed, the boss immediately changed her mind and decided to give Matt his job back. As Beano was about to leave, she met the developers on the street and convinced them to buy the estate they were planning. The three travel back to the farm.

Where are Matt and his children now?

Shortly after Beano arrived at the farm, he saw everyone, including Matt, looking for him. Beano told Matt that his boss was willing to give him his job back, but Matt refused; he said that he had decided to stay on the farm with his family. But another problem arises when the developers had already signed the contract that sold the farm.

The lawyer that Matt’s father had appointed appears and reports that according to the will, Matt cannot sell the farm. Everyone rejoices that the farm remains and Matt starts a new life in the village. Later, Santa Claus shows up, says that he is Matt’s father, and asks for his forgiveness.

The whole family comes together and everyone celebrates with songs and dances.
