How to get Sinistea and Sinistea Tokens in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet It’s a bit of a process at first. Sinistea is hidden in the far southwest of Paldea, near Alfornada, where you normally don’t visit until much later in the game. However, if you’re interested in adding Charcadet evolutions to your Paldean Pokédex sooner rather than later, she’s in luck.

How to get Sinistea in scarlet and violet

Sinistea only has two habitats: around Alfornada and in a small part of the Eastern Province. Wild Pokemon levels are more manageable early game in East Province, but you have a better chance of running into a Sinistea or three around Alfornada.

Whichever route you choose, it will take a while to get there. In East Province, you must visit Levincia Take the same route as if you were going to change to Gengar and exit on the north path. go to the wasteland to the west ruins as shown on the Sinistea habitat map.

Reaching Area Six of the Southern Province takes a bit longer. Travel to Area One of the Western Province, south of where you face the Bombirdier Titan, and take the path south to just before the Alfornada Cave. Normally, you have to acquire the Miraidon or Koraidon super jump to get through the cave, but if you jump from the western cliff, you can take the alternate route.

This path takes you through a different part of the Alfornada cave. Follow the path up, then turn left at the woman asking about the weather. Make sure you at least run to the Pokemon Center counter outside of Alfornada and its Gym to register it as a flight location.

Sinistea is tiny and very easy to miss as a result. float around the field between Alfornada and the coast at night, but you may need to keep the camera close to spot it.

How to get Sinistea Tokens

Sinistea Tokens are a Pokemon material, and just like other materials, you get them Catch or defeat wild Pokémon named after you. That is Sinistea in this case, naturally.

Sinistea has low defense and is weak to Ghost and Dark types, so defeating them will likely be easier than catching them, especially if you decide to do it earlier in the game. Bring a strong Maschiff or even Gengar along to make short work of them.

Wild Pokemon around Alfornada are around level 40, and those in the Eastern Province are in the low 20s to 30s. Keep this in mind when deciding your team.

What are the Sinistea Tokens for?

You need 10 Sinistea Tokens to create a malicious armor in the city of Zapapicoon the edge of the wasteland in Area Three of the Eastern Province.

Other than that, you use Sinistea Chips to create TMs, specifically:

  • Trick (TM 109)
  • Shadow Ball (TM 104)
  • Phantom Force (TM 151)
