Spider-Verse 2 Image Hints At Miles’ Relationship With His Parents

A new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse image from the film’s lead animator Nick Kondo hints at Miles’ changing relationship with his parents.

A new photo of Miles in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse – Part One has been released. The critically and commercially successful sequel Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse It will be released in June 2023. Through the Spider-Verse has Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld returning as Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, respectively, and adds Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099. Into the Spider-Verse came out, it not only thrived in reviews and box office numbers, but also had Academy Award success, winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, beating incredibles 2 Y Ralph breaks the Internet.

Everything We Know About Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse Part Ones Story

the end of Into the Spider-Verse saw Miles successfully return all the Spider-People to their own universes. However, the final scene and the end credits scene set the story up for Through the Spider-Verse Part One, as not only is Gwen’s return confirmed, but the sequel is also confirmed to pick up moments after its predecessor. Both the final credits scene of Into the Spider-Verse and the first trailer for Across the Spider-Verse Part One features Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099, who, in the comics, is the only superhero in his dystopian cyberpunk world.

In the end credits scene of into the spider verse, Spider-Man 2099 acquires technology that allows him to travel the multiverse. Lord has shared that Spider-Man 2099 aims to clean up the mess caused by the collider explosion in the first film, and plans to do so by recruiting Spider-People. The first trailer for Through Spider-Verse Part One, however, it causes a fight between him and Miles, so the execution of his plans might not be so smooth if that fight is any indicator. Either way, Spider-Man 2099 is building as a key player and appears to be the leader. Through the Spider-Verse story is at least partially centered on.

Writers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller confirmed that there will be 240 characters and that the story will take place in six universes, so Through the Spider-Verse is shaping up to be even more ambitious than its predecessor. Miller also teased that Miles’ arc will be a coming-of-age story this time around, giving more context to the photo shared by Kondo. the synopsis of Through the Spider-Verse it also hints at a more far-reaching story, as the villain is teased as something more powerful than ever before. It’s still unclear if this takes place in the Spider-Man 2099 universe or multiple universes, but the threat seems big enough to send Miles on an even bigger journey than the first.
