Star Trek: Resurgence delayed

Another highly anticipated game is Star Trek: Resurgence, an interactive narrative adventure game for PC, Playstation and Xbox announced last December. The game was scheduled to be released this year, but on Thursday the team at Dramatic Labs announced that they have moved the date to April 2023.

On Twitter, Dramatic Labs explained that the detail was to “give the game a final layer of polish” and was born out of their “love and admiration for Star Trek” to make sure they got it right.

set in the Star Trek: The Next Generation time, in Resurgence you take on the role of two main characters (first officer Jara Rydek and engineering crew member Carter Diaz) aboard the USS Resolute. The narrative-driven game has players unravel a “sinister mystery involving two alien civilizations on the brink of war.” The game promises to immerse players in the Star Trek universe and includes some familiar faces, including Ambassador Spock.
