The rebellion has finally risen

andore episode 12 is finally available now, marking the end of the season! Created by Tony Gilroy, the 2016 Star Wars Rogue One spin-off prequel series has Tony Gilroy, Dan Gilroy, Stephen Schiff, and Beau Willimon as writers for the show.

The show features a cast in which Diego Luna reprises his role as Cassian Andor, aka Kassa, along with Kyle Soller as Syril Karn, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Joplin Sibtain as Brasso, James McArdle as Timm Karlo, Rupert Vansittart as Chief Hyne, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Fiona Shaw as Maarva Andor, Alex Ferns as Sergeant Linus Mosk, Gary Beadle as Clem Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, and Denise Gough as Dedra Meero. The running time of the twelfth episode is 54 minutes.

The final episode is titled ‘Rix Road’ and the synopsis reads: “Led by numerous interests, fugitive Cassian returns home to Ferrix, a tinderbox experiencing a spark of rebellion.”

In the last episode, we saw Maarva die, prompting a funeral ceremony for Ferrix, which Meero encourages in the hope that Andor will attend. Vel informs Kleya of Maarva’s death and learns of Mon’s reluctant plan to marry off her daughter to secure funding through Sculdun.

Mon’s daughter Leida begins to participate in group gatherings related to Chandrilan culture and traditions, much to Mon and Vel’s distress. Karn also finds out about the funeral from Mosk and travels to Ferrix. Saw Gerrera decides at the last minute to assist in the Kreegyr’s attack on Spellhaus, but Luthen warns him not to, revealing that the ISB knows about the impending assault.

While returning to Coruscant, Luthen escapes from an Imperial patrol and destroys several TIE fighters. Cassian and his fellow prisoner Ruescott Melshi are able to escape Narkina 5 and travel to Niamos to retrieve Cassian’s belongings. After Cassian discovers that Maarva has passed away, he and Melshi part ways, intent on publicly exposing the Empire’s unfair prison system.

The last episode begins with a quiet conversation between Brasso and Xanwan about the possibility of Cassian coming to the funeral. But will she really she come there? He’s not sure, and the question worries everyone from friends to enemies. This is the moment when our heroes must take their next steps, none of which are easy.

But the conversation is overheard by Nurchi who could pose a big hindrance in their plans as he seemed to have his own personal reasons than for the greater good. After much anticipation, Cassian returns to Ferrix for Maarva’s funeral, learning of Bix’s imprisonment from Brasso.

Meanwhile, Meero and the local Imperial garrison prepare to use the funeral to capture Andor alive for questioning about Luthen, while Luthen plans to kill him using the Imperial ambush, with the help of Vel and Cinta. As everyone seeks to see him, he stealthily makes his way to the center of the Empire, where the people console him for the loss of him and warn him of the danger he is in, but promise to help him.

During the funeral, B2EMO shows a holographic recording of Maarva giving an emotional speech to the people of Ferrix asking them not to admit defeat and to rise up against their oppressors, leading a riot in the main quarter. With the help of all the chaos, Cassian finds his way to Bix and escapes without getting caught.

Summarizing: Andor Episode 12

The final episode of Star Wars: Andor it shows Bix, Brasso and others at a shipyard flying to a safer location. As Cassian vows to find them, she returns to Luthen, knowing well enough that she was there to murder him. Cassian offers to kill him or “take me in”, to which Luthen smiles and we could infer that he has joined the Rebel Alliance.

While the post-credit scene shows droids assembling the machinery produced by the Narkina 5 prisoners in the firing section of an Imperial superweapon or Death Star. This superweapon will ultimately kill Cassian and his Rebel Alliance ally in the Star Wars prequel movie. rogue onebut there’s a lot to cover before that in the upcoming season.

With Ferrix finally taking on the Empire, our leader seems to be inspired by his fighting spirit and will take on the role of a true rebel hero, which will be the basis for the subsequent story. The ending has also created a character arc for Dedra, Syril, Bix, and Mon Mothma; It will be interesting to see what awaits them next.
