What World Cup games are happening today? The game schedule for December 2 originally appeared on NBC Sports Philadelphia

We finally reached the end of the group stage in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

At the moment, almost all of the eight groups have had their final matches and have determined who will advance and who will be eliminated. And now we are in our last two groups.

Groups G and H will have their finals on Friday and the stakes will be high for these teams. On the one hand, we know of one team from each group that will already be advancing: Brazil (G) and Portugal (H). As for the other two nations that made it… well, we’ll have to wait and see.

With that, here’s the four-game slate to watch out for on Friday as the final groups of nations battle it out to advance to the round of 16:

South Korea-Portugal, Group H

This match will feature Portugal, who currently sit in first place in the Group H standings, and South Korea, who remain in third place. So far in the tournament, Portugal have managed two victories (one against Ghana and one against Uruguay), so it is not surprising that they have secured a place in the knockout phase.

On the other hand, we have South Korea, which was not so lucky. The country drew their first World Cup game against Uruguay and then lost their second game to Ghana 3-2.

Start time is 10 am ET, 7 am PT.

Ghana-Uruguay, Group H

The rest of Group H features Ghana, who sit in second place, and Uruguay, who is bottom. Ghana’s first match at the World Cup resulted in a 3-2 loss to Portugal led by superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. However, their second match resulted in a win as they took the lead against South Korea.

Uruguay, like South Korea, hasn’t exactly had the best record so far in the tournament. They drew South Korea to a 0-0 draw to start and then lost to Portugal 2-0 in their second game.

Start time is 10 am ET, 7 am PT.

Serbia-Switzerland, Group G

Serbia, like Cameroon, has the fewest points in the Group G standings: one. They lost their first match against Brazil 2-0 and then drew 3-3 with Cameroon in their second match. While, on the other hand, Switzerland is second behind Brazil with three points, so there is a good chance that they will advance to the knockout stage.

Start time is 2 pm ET, 11 am PT.

Cameroon-Brazil, Group G

We already know the fate of Brazil thanks to their two previous victories in the tournament, but Cameroon’s position is not so secure. The country experienced a 1-0 loss to Switzerland in their opening game and then landed in a 3-3 draw against Serbia in their second game. There is not much hope that this team will stay in Qatar.

Start time is 2 pm ET, 11 am PT.
